Question about i-tec Thunderbolt 3 Dual Dock

I am looking for a dock to easily switch Thunderbolt monitor (Apple LG 4k), network, USB HDDs and power supply between Macbook pro 15" 2016 and iPad Pro 2021 11"...does it work with this dock? Thanks

I have a very similar setting and it works fine. Since the dock has only one TB input, you have to plug the USB-C connector into the respective device to switch between iPad and MacBook, so an automatic switch of the source is not possible.
