I have a current HP Spectre x360 15-df1xxx (current BIOS F22) with TB3 connection, but the i-tec TB3HDMIDOCKPLUS is not recognised by the HP. the device driver USB controller and also intel gigabit network show constant errors. HP support unfortunately without success ....

Helpful answer
With my HP Spectre x360 15-df, I can only operate the dock when I use the Thunderbolt port without the PC symbol, i.e. without the charging function. This means that I still have to connect the power supply.
The laptop goes haywire with the other port.

The problem with my installation was that I had used a different TB3 cable between my computer and the dock. Only with the supplied cable labelled 3 does the connection work.

I use the dock on 2 different Lenovo laptops, once under Linux, once under Windows.

It works perfectly on the business laptop under Linux. On the "consumer" laptop under Windows, I often get "error pop-ups" from Windows, but the dock works afterwards. I also have regular reconnects under Windows when the laptop is actively charging via the dock. If I connect a separate power supply to the laptop, however, it works.
