I have a Dell Latitude 9240 and would like to use a dock (USB-C) to connect my two BenQ PD2500Q (resolution of 2560 x 1440 each). The laptop should also be charged. Is this dock suitable and which other (inexpensive) dock would you recommend?

Yes, you should be able to connect 2 external monitors with 2560 x 1440 resolution without any problem.
