Question about Huawei Watch GT 2 Sport Edition

I have a Huawei Watch 2 and an (older) Huawei P20 Lite phone. Now I need to slowly get a new phone - Android, as I work a lot with Google Prosucts). Can I now download the Huawei Health App with a current Android phone, and if so how and how complicated is that? Or is there another way - possibly another health app - ? Greetings Herbert
