I have a Lenovo ThinkPad and two external monitors. However, I don't want a "duplicate screen" mode, but an "extent screen". How do I do that? It doesn't work with an HDMI splitter. Do I need one of those docking stations? If so, which is the best in terms of price-performance ratio?
Yes, exactly, to use several screens on one notebook, you need a docking station. The Lenovo one is equipped for this. But it's not worth buying something cheap, because the cheap models often only have 2 x 1920 x 1080 pixel HD resolution, so it's worth buying something right. And this model would also come with an external power supply unit, which you could use to charge the notebook.
