Question about Garmin HRM-Dual

I have a new Garmin Forerunner 45S and the Garmin HRM-Dual heart rate belt. Unfortunately, the connection between the two devices only lasts for a few seconds or 1 or 2 minutes. Then they lose each other. The watch is on the wrist and therefore close to the chest. With this permanent loss of connection, the combo is absolutely unusable. Unless I do something wrong. Just wondering what else. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Have you tried the following?
- Software update of your watch
- Re-pair the chest strap
- Replace the chest strap battery (reset)

Basically, with all of these chest straps you have to moisten the pads with water beforehand so that they can read the pulse.
