Question about HP G4
I have connected this docking station to my "HP ZBook Studio x360 G5" but I cannot charge it via the USB-C port. The docking station itself also gets relatively hot when it is connected. Does it have to be like this?

we use this station in the business for many hp elite 1040 notebooks and privately i use it with a newer macbook pro. the computers are used without problems with the front side usb c connected cable for data, display as well as power. it should certainly work with your configuration with the hp zbook, better ask hp right away to be sure. hot, oh yes, it will and it bothers me too. still understandable as it is small and has a lot of data and power to process without a fan. i hope to have offered you a little help.
