Question about HP G5 Essential

I have installed the docking station, but nothing works. I bought it from digitec as "used" and wonder if it has a defect or if it is not compatible with my HP Elitebook 855 G7 . This Elitebook has a USB C interface and therefore I think it should work, can anyone give any information ? Thank you very much !

Try installing the firmware from the HP support page. It has power, but does anything light up? There are G5 and G5 Essential important for the firmware.
