Aarke Water bubbler II

Aarke Water bubbler II

Question about Aarke Water bubbler II

I ordered the bubbler a fortnight ago - it looks super chic, but something is wrong with the device. Water keeps leaking out (at the back, running down the column). I also have the feeling that something is wrong inside and water is leaking out via the Soda Stream cartridge. Does anyone have a similar problem? Is this a warranty case?

Hello all. We have exactly the same problem. At first we thought it was the bottles. But now we have all original aake bottles and water is still leaking into the floor via the column. How can we open a warranty claim? Thank you very much for your feedback.

The Co2 cartridge does not contain water. The water can be from the filled water bottle. If the bottle is very full, it will foam over at the end from bubbling and fizz into the unit. This would allow the water to get into the unit and onto the column.
When CO2 flows out of the cartridge, it cools down. At best, this is condensation from the flat air forming on the cooled cartridge (not very likely).
My Aarke bubbler is slowly losing CO2. Like a small hole in a bicycle tube, bubble by bubble. That's why I screw the cartridge loose after each fizz, so it's closed by the flapping valve and lasts for more fills.
