Question about Nikon Ftz II

Important note: The adapter is apparently delivered with a firmware 1.0. Both of my lenses did not work (Tamron 24-70, 2.8; Nikkor 105 Micro). A phone call to Nikon's customer support helped: you have to install the latest firmware. It takes 5 minutes and is super simple: download the firmware from the support site to the SD card in the top directory, then insert the SD card into the camera and install via the firmware menu. My day is saved: I bought the Nikon Z5 because I can continue to use my "old" lenses (and batteries) with this camera.

Well-intentioned, but not. Your hint refers to the original FTZ adapter, there is indeed an update. There is no such update for the FTZ2, it is still version 1.10, and if you try to install the FTZ update 1.10 on the FTZ2 you will find that this is not possible. By the way, there are non-Nikon lenses that have problems on the FTZ2, for example the Tamron 28-70 2.8 G1.
