Question about iRobot Roomba i7

In settings I put 'no status indicator' yet the circle light always stays on. Why?

Thank you for your question. Please check that the robot has been placed correctly on the charging station and is charging. If there are problems with charging, make sure that the metal contact points on the charging base and the bottom of the Roomba are clean. It is important that the charging contacts are cleaned regularly and that any deposits are visible. Sometimes an oxide layer forms on them and the current flow can no longer be guaranteed in an ideal way. Thoroughly clean the contacts with a fine sandpaper or scratch sponge.
