The Velbon tripod head is much too heavy for this cheap lightweight travel tripod. I wouldn't want to mount a head that weighs more than 300 grams. The tripod is a bad design anyway, because you can't retract the centre column. I wouldn't buy it. In this price range, I would rather go for a Benro Slim (not the travel version).

Is this tripod suitable for a camera like the gh5 ? i have been using a tripod with a lever that i can use for tilting - how is it without such a lever ? thanks
