Is it still the case that the location can only be localised if other iPhones are in the vicinity? This is also the case with the Airtag, where the iPhones in the vicinity communicate with each other and my iPhone is then informed where the Airtag is located. Conclusion: My suitcase with an Airtag can only be found at the airport when people with an iPhone are in the vicinity.... what a pity!
