Yes. I used mine for years to switch 2x 1920x1200 screens and keyboard/mouse between a Linux desktop and laptop.
(When it finally gave up the ghost, I bought a monitor with built-in KVM).

The operating system should not play a role, as "only" the image, keyboard and mouse are passed through.
However, I can no longer say exactly what the device still does, as I haven't used it for years.
