Is the watch recommended for swimmers (indoor pool & open water), or could it be difficult with the touch screen?

Helpful answer

Surely another Garmin is better as you can work with the external keys instead of touch, but this one is also recommended

The touchscreen cannot be operated in water. However, you can start and end the activities with the button in the water. The activities must be selected before entering the water. Wait until the satellites have been found.

Sorry, unfortunately I can't answer that. I've never worn the watch in the water and probably won't get round to it this year. Apart from that, I'm very satisfied. If the ECG function is added soon, I will actually be completely satisfied.
