Is this lens compatible with the Sony a6100?

Basically yes, but the a6100 is an APS-C camera. This means that the image/viewing angle of the lens is smaller than on a full format with a larger image sensor and corresponds to a focal length of 75mm on a full format (= slight telephoto). Well suited for portraits, for example.

yes, this lens is compatible with the ILCE-6100.
There is one restriction: SteadyShot is not supported.
