Is this platform connected to the PC and reacts to the joystick movements, or are the panels for the flight simulator and the joystick connected to the platform and this is then only connected to the PC? And with what kind of connector is the platform connected to the PC?
No, the software that controls the platform gets the data directly from the game. Practically all sim racing games (PorjectCars, Asseto Corsa, iRacing, etc.) provide telemetry data in real time. I don't know what this looks like with flight simulators...
