Is this remote compatible with the a57 camera? I couldn't find any information on the Sony manufacturer's website. Thanks for the help :-)

Yes, the remote control is also compatible with the a57. On the manufacturer's website, practically every accessory can be checked to see if it is compatible with one of Sony's cameras.
