It says "Equipment + functions : Notebook charging function" ... but how can a charging station charge the notebook if it does not have its own power connection? This statement would otherwise be confusing (at least for me *smile*).

Helpful answer

Hi Thomas , the docking station has a usb c power port , there you can connect a usb c charger and via the usb c cable which goes to the laptop from the charging station, it can be charged at the same time, but only if your laptop supports charging via usb c.

We use a Lenovo Thinkbook in conjunction with this docking station. Here, the power supply of the notebook is actually used for the DS - it has a power connection (USBC). Then the notebook is supplied with power via USBC (but that's the only way to do it). So again - the power connection of the notebook is (if you work without DS) after the power supply unit is also only a USBC connection. Hope the answer helps :-)
