Question about Seagate BarraCuda
Macbook pro (2011): I bought the HDD for a dual hard drive. After formatting, I started copying files to it and only then remembered that I still have to install the OS (10.11) first. Now I have reformatted (several times), but I can't install the OS, they say the HDD can't be repaired. Does anyone know what to do? Is it gone?
Thank you for the answers. Just a quick feedback to finish this. I have deleted all partitions and booted with external boot media but did nothing, OS Setup gives me an error message. Disc Warrior also gave me an error message, HDD cannot be rebuilt. I also tried using the HDD as an external drive but it doesn't want to.
Hello, I don't think it's gone, I would delete all the portions, the OS setup creates the portions and installs everything. Do you have an external boot medium?
