The camera can also be used as a high-quality webcam. My question - is the audio signal from the camera also transmitted? There is Imaging Edge Webcam software for cameras like the Alpha 6400, with which the camera can also be used as a webcam. However, it says: Imaging Edge Webcam cannot process audio from the built-in microphone or from an external microphone of the camera.

Like the ZV-1, the camera can be used directly as a USB webcam via the menu item "USB Streaming", including audio. The diversions via Imaging Edge is not necessary.

We did a little research and found the following: If you use the Imaging Edge Webcam software from Sony instead of UVC/UAC, only the image is transmitted, but no audio, so that you have to provide this differently via the computer. After all, almost 40 Sony cameras are currently compatible with Imaging Edge Webcam, so that the ZV-E10 can be integrated here identically to other Sony cameras if desired. Another alternative is to use the HDMI interface with Clean-Out to tap the video signal with an external solution.
