The description of the 1m cable only states that it is for charging iPads and iPhones and connecting iPhones/iPads to MacBooks, and it does not explicitly state that it is also for charging MacBooks. The 2m cable says it is ideal for charging MacBooks. I have already tried to charge a MacBook with the 1m cable, which has worked without any problems from my point of view. Is this OK or could there be a problem or do the two cables somehow differ in functionality?
