The heart rate recording works perfectly on the indoor bike and the values match the values on my Apple Watch exactly. Because I don't think the watch records my heart rate correctly when swimming, I bought the heart rate strap. It said it works for swimming. In the outdoor pool, as soon as I got into the water, it immediately lost the connection to my smartphone. No heart rate was recorded. Indoors, it measured just 10 minutes out of 75 minutes of training and was certainly wrong - far too low. Hence my question - am I doing something wrong or is it simply not working?

I think you need to be extra careful with the strap fitting, i.e., tight. Also you need to start it before you go into pool to store the measurements into the belt. No live monitoring is possible I think.

But I havenät used the belt in years so my memory might be flaky...
