Question about Eurochron Radio weather station

The unsecured WIFI access point of the weather station tablet is available as an "open" access point to anyone within range, even after connection with the app. So anyone can connect to the tablet at any time and read out the data. And thus anyone can publish "my weather data" in various weather stations. I find this unattractive. Does anyone know a way to prevent this access?

My weather station only works as temperature humidity and precipitation, and is transmitted directly. Since the instructions are only in English and I know little English, I have not tried other functions.

Simply use the app to configure the access data (SSID, WPA2 key) for an existing WLAN that the device should dial into. This is necessary anyway if you want to have the data on wunderground or another service.
