This is not a question. This is a hint for musicians who want to build a new DAW computer (audio PC). https://griggaudio.de/2022/04/26/warum-ddr4-ram-fuer-einen-audio-pc-besser-ist-als-ddr5/ 1,000/5,600*46*2 = 16.43ns (nanoseconds) Or in other words: DDR5 Ram have very high latencies compared to DDR4. This is noticeable in audio (I think this could be problematic when playing melodies, but I have never tested it myself).

Interesting. With a DAW there are indeed latency times, they say that up to 5 ms is not a problem in most cases. 5 ms latency corresponds to an additional distance of 1.72 metres in the audio range if I calculate with sound propagation of 343 m/s in air. Such a small distance is not perceived as a delay (this is my experience as a drummer and electronics engineer). The situation is of course different with microphones on the drum (with 8 or more microphones), where phase cancellations occur if the distances of the microphones to the sound source are different. But now back to the latencies in the ns range: in 16ns the sound propagates 5.5 micrometres in air :)
