To me, the sound seems worse than with the Bose 700, and maybe also than the QC 35 II. Strangely, they sound fine to me when I have them plugged in by cable and without noise cancelling. As soon as I turn on the noise cancelling (still wired), the sound changes dramatically. Does anyone observe the same?
