Question about Sony Alpha 7 IV
Today I ordered the CFexpress type B from Sandisk for my Sony Alpha 7 Mark IV... but now I'm unsure whether it's compatible, as type A is usually recommended for Sony. Can anyone give me a clear answer? Thank you

Will not work. The Sony needs a type A CFexpress card.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV supports CFexpress type A and SD cards (UHS-II), but not CFexpress type B. The type B card from SanDisk will therefore unfortunately not be compatible. You can find more information in the technical data of the model.

No, type B does not fit in the Sony A74. The card is too big. You can use 1x type A + 1x SD card or up to 2 SD cards. In my opinion, SD cards are completely sufficient. E.g. Kingston SDXC V90 ii 3. LG
