Unfortunately, the specification is no longer quite right. With Apple Silicon (M1) the dock unfortunately no longer works as desired. USB works, but not Ethernet (other ports not tested). However, IcyBox has completely removed Apple/MacOs support for this dock on their website!

I bought the dock for a MacBook Air (Intel processor). The first device had a loose contact, but then all the connections - from time to time - did not work, was replaced for me by Digitec without any problems. I then tested the replacement device with the MacBook Air and my MacBook Pro (14', 2021) and it worked perfectly. After your message, I connected it again today to the MachBook Pro and it worked perfectly again - but after restarting the computer, the Ethernet, HDMI and MiniDP no longer worked, as they did for you. I can't test the MacBook Air at the moment.
But what this means is that the dock is not usable for Apple M1 users.
