What happens when I attach a Nikkor or Tamron with VR image stabiliser?

It works perfectly on the lens side. On the camera side, there is also roll compensation. Quote: "If you use a lens with an integrated image stabiliser (VR), the lens-supported detection of tilt and pan movements is supplemented by the camera-supported detection of roll" Source: https://www.nikon.ch/de_CH....
Tamron lenses sometimes need an update for this.

Provided the lens is compatible, it works exactly the same as (without adapter) on the F mount.
