What kind of test do you have to take to be allowed to fly them?

In the Netherlands, you need A1/A3 and A2 and I did.
The DJI Avata 2 weighs >250g but <900g and has a C1 class marking, which is printed on the drone.
This means that the Avata 2 falls into sub-category A1 (under 900g).

The following requirements apply to you as the operator of the Avata 2:
a) Register as a drone pilot (https://www.uas.gate.bazl.admin.ch)
b) Acquire A1/A3 certificate. The training and examination is free of charge and can be done online.
c) Liability insurance that covers damage caused by drones (at least CHF 1 million)
d) last but not least: adhere to the flight rules of the corresponding sub-category
You will be familiar with these after the training. I have noted down the most important points on a cheat sheet, as I also fly drones in class C0 and some of the rules that apply to C1 do not apply there.
