With the predecessor model One X, there was the problem that the date/time is reset when the battery is removed and is only correct again when connected to the smartphone. (This meant that some of my recordings had incorrect times because I was not always connected to the smartphone). Is this also the case with the Insta360 One X2?

Hi, I have been using X2 for a few years and have never had to change or remove the battery, so I have not experienced this problem. I also don't use the smartphone together with the camera although it is paired. I only edit the videos on the PC. The date and time are always correct for me. The successor X3 is already on the market, so I would buy the latest edition if I were buying a new one. A few disadvantages of X2 have been fixed. For me, however, an upgrade is not yet worthwhile.
