With the Sony 200-600mm, is it normal for the zoom ring to have a lighter resistance at 200mm and at the end 600mm?

It was the first and last time I bought something from Ricardo, the zoom ring is heavy on me, not like my 70-200 or 100-400.

I don't notice any difference with mine. Neither a "lighter" resistance nor a heavier resistance. I am not quite sure what is meant.
