Yes it works with Apple TV (also if you have it by salt). It doesn't controll the TV itselfs.

The remote is paired with the Apple TV, not with a provider.
Although I'm not with Salt, I'd say apriori that it should work.

If your Salt TV is an AppleTV then there shouldn't be a problem.
