The little Häwelmann lies in his rollaway bed and cannot sleep. His mother is supposed to push him around, but her eyes have long since closed. So the boy hangs his shirt over one of his legs, grabs the shirt tails, and blows vigorously into the sail. And just like that, he rolls through the room, up the wall, upside down along the ceiling, and back down the wall. The moon, watching him kindly through the window, calls out, "Boy, haven't you had enough yet?" But the little Häwelmann pays no attention to this and simply rolls out into the night on a moonbeam through the keyhole. The fairy tale by Theodor Storm (1817-1888) retold by Susanne Brand.
