What is the maximum wall thickness/door thickness for this door clamp? Best thanks for a short feedback

The product description says it needs 2cm overhang. But with other door clips from Amazonas it needs 5mm. Does this door clamp really need that much protrusion?

I think it works even with less, but the wider the overhang, the better the hold 👍
