The white safety gate has a width of 70 cm and can be adjusted to fit openings between 75 and 82 cm. If the width is insufficient, it can be enlarged with an extension (not included, sold separately). The stair protection is made of sturdy steel and is secured to the door frame with four clamp screws. This allows doors, hallways, and staircases to be blocked off. The gate can be opened with one hand by adults, keeping one hand free for the child. Opening the gate requires a combination of pushing and pulling. These are simple maneuvers, but they are not yet motorized for small children. The double child-safe lock ensures that uncontrolled pulling and lifting do not open the stair gate.
