Is the sound transmitted continuously, or is it possible to adjust this somehow through the 'sensitivity setting' so that the sound is only transmitted above a certain volume?

Hello.
The sound is transmitted continuously. However, you can adjust the playback volume in 7 steps.
If the baby gets louder and cries, there is also a visual indicator (red light).
