Adolf Heilborn (January 11, 1873 in Berlin; April 2, 1941 in the same place) was a German physician, writer, and translator. Heilborn attended the Luisenstädtisches Gymnasium in Berlin and studied medicine and natural sciences from 1893 to 1897. In 1898, he earned his doctorate in medicine. Even as a high school student, he published contributions in the Vossische Zeitung. He worked as a ship's doctor on a world voyage and then settled in Berlin as a physician, editor, and translator. There, he engaged in extensive publishing and lecturing activities and served as the editor and publisher of the journal Die Gegenwart.
