Adolf Hermann Jaeger (November 21, 1832 in Elberfeld; June 8, 1899 there) was a German politician. From 1873 until his death in 1899, he served as the mayor of the city of Elberfeld. The Protestant Lutheran Adolf Hermann Jaeger was born as the son of the pharmacist Friedrich Jäger and his wife Christiane Krückeberg. Starting in 1854, he worked at the Elberfeld District Court, first as a law clerk and then, from 1860, as an assessor. On February 2, 1863, he transferred to the Elberfeld city administration and became the First Alderman.
