The book "An Efficient Method for Constructing Regional Input-Output Tables" by Muhammad Handry Imansyah offers a comprehensive analysis and innovative approaches to the creation of regional input-output tables, which are crucial for economic planning and analysis. The development of such tables often requires significant financial and time resources that are not always available, especially for regional governments. This specialized book presents a hybrid method based on the identification of the Fundamental Economic Structure (FES) in Indonesian regions. It examines the efficiency of this method and demonstrates its application in two districts of South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The results show that the FES approaches in Indonesia exhibit similar patterns to those in other countries, highlighting the relevance and applicability of the method.
