Angela Maas, born on January 13, 1959, in Aachen, is a German journalist and television presenter. Since 1984, Maas has been working in television, initially at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, where she co-developed the children's news program Mini-ZiB. In 1986, she returned to Germany, working as a program presenter for 3sat and in the news editorial team of WDR Fernsehen's Aktuelle Stunde. In 1988, she took over the moderation of the news program west3 aktuell, and in April 1996, she joined Lokalzeit Köln. In the meantime, Maas hosted the magazine frauTV on WDR Fernsehen, as her predecessor Lisa Ortgies moved to the magazine Emma as editor-in-chief.
