Aspekte neu, the German textbook for intermediate learners, is aimed at students who want to deepen their German skills starting from level B1 and confidently progress to level C1. Interesting topics and texts, along with targeted skills training, support the learning process. Aspekte neu was developed based on the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and using the can-do descriptions from Profile deutsch. Volume 2 (B2) facilitates the transition to level C1. A central focus is learner orientation, incorporating the areas of life and situations in which learners encounter and use the German language, as well as promoting autonomous learning. The selection of topics, text types, and language functions in the chapters, along with the derived grammar, phrases, and vocabulary, is based on this foundation.
