In terms of strategic personnel management, it was necessary to review the evaluation of teaching performance at the Faculty of Humanities to determine compliance with existing rules and regulations. Our main objective was to diagnose the impact of examination practices on teaching performance in higher education institutions. To this end, we developed seventeen standards that were incorporated into our compliance framework and reformulated as questions in our data collection instrument. These standards were based on Presidential Decree 121/20 of April 27 regarding the evaluation of teaching performance in the subsystem of higher education. The outcome showed that the Faculty of Humanities generally demonstrated positive performance, particularly in the dimensions of teaching and research. However, upon detailed analysis, we found indications that need to be corrected. Based on the results, we conclude that the application of this audit compliance proves the efficiency of this instrument, thus confirming the hypotheses.
