Jan lives in a world of careers, brands, and possessions. Spoiled by success, he gambles everything away and loses, in a short time, all that was important to him. He is forced to move into a small apartment, surrounded by quirky and eccentric neighbors. It is only when he starts to engage with them and his new situation that he begins to enjoy his simple life. At the same time, he suspects that true satisfaction lies somewhere between both worlds. But it is only when he enters a beach café on the Baltic Sea, barefoot and with his last money in his pocket, that he realizes there are three things that lead to true happiness.
