"Did not our hearts burn within us?" the disciples from Emmaus said to each other after their first Sunday Mass. It was on the first day of the week, Sunday, when they were walking with Jesus, listening to him explain the Scriptures, and recognized him when he broke the bread. This resurrection narrative (cf. Lk 24:13–35) can be spiritually interpreted in relation to our attitude towards the Eucharistic celebration, so that our hearts may also be set ablaze.
