The building material concrete is already found in many application areas. For this reason, it is essential to investigate the properties of concrete under special conditions. Due to the increasing spans in buildings, prestressed systems are sometimes used. Additionally, very high loads often occur, which cannot be transferred by normal concrete and therefore must be managed with high-strength concrete. For this reason, encounters between these systems are becoming more frequent. This work closely examines and analyzes the mutual interaction between prestressing and high-strength concrete regarding fire resistance. The first section essentially explains the fundamentals of the materials and systems used. Subsequently, the exact procedure of the experiments is described. The results are presented in tabular form and illustrated with the help of diagrams. From these diagrams, it can ultimately be determined whether and to what extent prestressing affects the fire resistance of high-strength concrete.
