The book "Business Information Systems" documents the results of the tenth international conference on this topic, which took place in 2007 in Poznan. Since its inception in 1997, this conference has established itself as a significant forum for professionals to exchange current research findings on the development, implementation, and enhancement of computer systems for business processes. The focus of the conference was on the "semantic integration of data and processes across companies and societies." This volume brings together 51 selected contributions that address various aspects of modern business information systems, including business process management, web services, ontologies, and decision support.
