The question of reliable values has increasingly come to the forefront in recent years. Keywords such as pluralism, value change, and value shift bring a great deal of uncertainty. Where can I find orientation? What values does the church offer? The author Karin Heumüller provides an introductory overview of value concepts in church documents in this book and offers insights into contemporary value concepts through interviews with leading theologians and personalities from the church in Austria. Building on this, she analyzes the guiding principles of Catholic private schools and explains whether and to what extent Christian values are present in school declarations.
