The book "Comparison of Lexical Availability in Spanish as a Foreign Language" offers a comprehensive study of lexical availability in Spanish among non-Spanish students from China and South Africa. It analyzes the differences and similarities in lexical availability across five specific semantic fields: human body, food, school, city, and professions and trades. The study aims to compare the lexical availability of medical students from both countries to gain valuable insights for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. By applying both theoretical and empirical methods, a solid theoretical-methodological foundation is established that analyzes the results both quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings of this research are intended to serve as a basis for improving vocabulary instruction in Spanish as a foreign language.
