The two-volume set, consisting of LNCS 10492 and LNCS 10493, documents the refereed proceedings of the 22nd European Symposium on Research in Computer Security, which took place in September 2017 in Oslo, Norway. These volumes contain 54 revised full texts carefully selected from 338 submitted papers. The topics addressed cover a wide range of current challenges in computer security, including data protection, security protocols, system and network security, privacy, threat modeling and detection, as well as information flow.
